Amanda FrenchAmanda French is the High Risk Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist that coordinates care for families experiencing a high risk pregnancy. She works with Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, Neonatologists, and all of Duke’s Pediatric specialty physicians She has served as the principal investigator on several nursing research studies including Healing Touch in the NICU, Pitocin use in Labor, and Early Recognition of Postpartum Hemorrhage. In working with several teams on research, Amanda and her teams have had several poster and podium presentations accepted including Implementation of a Perinatal Palliative Care: An interdisciplinary team approach, Fetal and Neonatal Outcomes Following a Prenatal Palliative Care Consult for Anticipated Life-Limiting Fetal Diagnosis and Perinatal Family Bonding Program for Infants with Congenital Heart Disease.
